Long time no see. LOL I know I have been remiss about the blog. But I am making up for it today by writing about all that is going on. First, the title, The Miracle Tree, Moringa truly is just that. No this is not an advertisement. Most of the people propagating it do much non-profit work. I just read a testimonial about someone who took over 400 seeds to Africa to help the people start growing. Go to YouTube and see some videos on this. You will see the changes taking place, especially for the babies and children.
Let me go back, my discovery of Moringa came from one of the blogs. This tree is so potent with vitamins, amino acids, nutrients on such a huge scale that nothing even comes close to it. You can use the entire plant, roots, seeds, tree limbs, leaves and the small branches. One example, you can press the seeds to recover the oil, them use them to purify your water. Very important in most places on the planet. Go check it out for yourself. I am purchasing the leaves that are shed dried then pounded into a powder. I make tea from it.
My recipe for the tea: 1/4 tsp, 1 tsp honey, mix these two together well. Pour hot water over this and stir. I then put almond milk in it and ice cubes during the winter. It is wonderful. I also put it into soups, sauces, salad dressings, etc.
I gave some to my daughter when she was very tired and dragging herself around. Within a few days she was smiling, happy and energetic (there is no caffeine in Moringa). We shopped all day and she still wasn't tired. Her appetite was good, where as before she would pick.
I have been getting things ready for the state fair in October. I have two quilts, 5 purses (again), and whatever I can whip up. Can't wait. The dogs are in fine fashion. I am well. My children bought me a golf car for my 60's birthday. And I now weigh 121 lbs and looking awesome.
God Bless you all.

It's raining again, Y'all
Again, I can not download pictures. I was going to place a picture in my Blog of my cactus flower in my backyard.
I found some new blogs that knocked my socks off, go check them out.
What a beautiful rainy day.
I can sleep forever on a day when it rains.
The birds are the only sound I can hear.
Have you ever heard the tape of
crickets slowed down?
They sound just like angels singing.
I will try to find it and play it here.
God bless Haiti.
God bless Chili.
God bless Africa.
And God bless us everyone.
Yes, we could all use your Blessings, Father.
And Peace Please.
And it will start right here.
And right now.
Have you ever looked at an onion seed?
Then look at the inside of an onion?
It is one of the amazing things to me,
To be apart of a miracle.
Either planting or cooking.
There are miracles all round you,
Everywhere you look,
or listen, or feel.
God has put angels among us.
And I truley believe he walks with us.
There are many instances in the Bible,
Where we are told so.
I do not believe some who say,
No there are no more miracles, etc.,
As if God has gone to sleep.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Have a Blessed day and week.

First Blog

Today in the desert, it is overcast and broadcasts the promise of rain. Most unusual at this time of the winter. Rain usually gets here during the summer monsoons. The grayness of the day mimics my mood. I am sure that I need more light. And getting more than enough from the good Lord.
Today I feel better than yesterday, we will call it 'Dark Tuesday'! So this is my contemplation day, not a day of action for this woman. I am not able to walk Baby today, it makes her cranky when I don't. Yes, I have low energy days too! Almost feel like I should be Hibernating. So instead of Dark Tuesday, I will go with "My Hibernation Cycle".
I had the idea to start a radio station online and interview people. My daughter, who will speak to anyone regarding any one topic would be my roving reporter. I will tell you stories about my friends and aquaintances. (please give me latitude for spelling errors & flights of fancy).
What story to tell today?
I have an aquaintance who collects boxes. They don't particularly have to be pretty. But somehow she has developed a taste and attachment to these boxes by size and colors. When I found out at work they were collecting things to go into small boxes and mail out to Africa I immediately thought of said person. Well, you would have thought I had asked for her first born child!! She said, "My boxes, you want my boxes?" We were never very good friends after that. She felt she needed them more than "those Coloreds". You could have struck me with lighting I was so still with shock. And speachless! To think someone in 2005 still spoke in that bigoted fashion. I wanted to pack up my things and travel north. Lord forgive and help us all. So she still has all of her boxes and is alone and very miserable. I thank God that I hang onto nothing.
I have many more friends or aquaintances who are on the edge of reality. I will cronicalize them as we go along. Please feel free to tell me about your slightly akilter family and friends. I would love to hear about them.
