WIND OF GOD

WIND OF GOD

Contrary to popular belief
to keep on sinning brings no relief
from the guilt and shame I possess,
from the transgressions in my life I refuse to confess.

Reveal to me, O Lord I humbly now pray,
those iniquities I cling to that have led me astray.

Wind of God revive me with Your fresh air;
Breath of Life flow o'er me for I know You are there.
Why should I die? Can I avoid this certain death
that would eternally separate me into the lowest depth?

Compromise, disobedience, even dishonesty had,
for a season, overshadowed me.
But, Holy God, I choose to repent of it all,
and, now on Your name I sincerely call.

Wind of God revive me with Your fresh air;
Breath of Life flow o'er me
for I know You are there.

Empty me of all that to You has been an offense.
Display in me the works worthy of my repentance.
Refreshing Spirit, energize me with a new vibrant walk,
with a new way of thinking, a new way to talk.
I surrender to You Lord, for only in You can I find
this new heart, this new spirit, this brand new mind.

Wind of God revive me with Your fresh air; Breath of Life flow o'er me for I know You are there.

Happy Easter, Happy Birthday and Happy Earth Day

Hi! The Happy Birthday is for my Brother, David, who is 55 this year.

I went to our church's Good Friday Celebration last night. It was so moving. They did a monologue type of play. Each character came out and marvelously acted out their part. So many talented people I worship with. Who knew? The message was strongly brought home. We all left in silence in the dark and walked to the back of the property and there was a figure hanging on a cross. A real person. Then we all left in silence, children asking a multitude of questions. Well done. Although a little gruesome for the little ones at the end.

Happy Earth Day Mother Earth. We love you so. Peace, Love, Hope, Faith, Kindness are the things of God and how we feel about here. We are the stewards of this great big blue marble holding place in space, let us not let her down or God. I hear many say, "All this peace and love stuff has nothing to do with God. You are just painting a pretty picture, not reality." God created us in that environment. We rejected it. Do we need to turn our back on the perfection of God? Not for me.

I am making the deviled eggs for our family get together tomorrow. Our theme is Mexican food. We all bring one dish to share. I am making Salsa Deviled Eggs. They are cooking now. How to make the perfect boiled egg (without making them way over done -  Gasssss) Boil the eggs for one minute, then turn off the burner, cover and let sit for only 10 minutes. They are delicious. Then I am going to crack the eggs and color them so they have a cracked looking outside. What colors will took tasty? Not green. Maybe yellow or orange? Not sure yet, I thought about red, but those red dyes are questionable. I think I will save the red to dye wool fiber for spinning.

Happy Holidays all, and God Bless

PS Do you like my new profile picture? I thought I would show you what Christmas Morning looks like at our house.

Questions

The photo you see below is my beautiful daughter.
When she turned 35 she asked me some questions.
Did you want me when you knew you were Pregnant?
Oh yes, from day one!
Did you love my Dad?
More than you or he will ever know.

What are your questions? Here I have some for you. Do you talk about your faith at work? I do not mean, do you preach at people?
I saw this on another blog and was intrigued by it. There were many different responses.
Why is that so tabu? 'Because you never talk about politics or religion in polite company'?
Work is not the place to discuss beliefs?
Because religion has been outlawed in the USA?
Because it is not politically correct?
You don't want to offend somebody?
What are your excuses?

If you are a Christian, a Godly person, and you hide who you are, aren't you offending Him?

Do you live your life as you believe?

Would Christ have a hard time finding you in a crowd?

I have fallen off the Christian wagon so many times, I have now lost
count. I am not proud of it. But I am forgiven.

Opening up a conversation about God is relatively easy. "What did you do this weekend?" "Do you have any hobbies?" "What books do you read?"

I guess you can see I am on the side of erring for the good of mankind and speaking up. I have always been a rabble rouser. I have spoken of miracles that God has preformed in my life and it has opened up many conversations. Then I found out other people around me were also Christians. But none of us had the courage to talk about the subject.

The subject of eternal life, of a love that conquers all, a peace that passes all understanding (human), how God gave his only son, miracles......

What do you think? What do you believe?

It's raining again, Y'all

Again, I can not download pictures. I was going to place a picture in my Blog of my cactus flower in my backyard.
I found some new blogs that knocked my socks off, go check them out.

What a beautiful rainy day.
I can sleep forever on a day when it rains.
The birds are the only sound I can hear.

Have you ever heard the tape of
crickets slowed down?
They sound just like angels singing.
I will try to find it and play it here.

God bless Haiti.
God bless Chili.
God bless Africa.
And God bless us everyone.
Yes, we could all use your Blessings, Father.

And Peace Please.
And it will start right here.
And right now.

Have you ever looked at an onion seed?
Then look at the inside of an onion?
It is one of the amazing things to me,
To be apart of a miracle.
Either planting or cooking.

There are miracles all round you,
Everywhere you look,
or listen, or feel.

God has put angels among us.
And I truley believe he walks with us.
There are many instances in the Bible,
Where we are told so.

I do not believe some who say,
No there are no more miracles, etc.,
As if God has gone to sleep.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Have a Blessed day and week.

If I were Queen of the World for one day...

If I were Queen of the World for one day, I would declare a cease fire and peace everywhere.
I would outlaw lawn art, except for the backyard.
I would select trees that I love and declare the ground they are on as a Global Park, to be reviered and cared for.
Each person would help feed one other person on the planet who is hungry.
All water, air and toilet facilities would be free from any charge.
Every child would be given a name.
It would be a Global Holiday for everyone so they could enjoy their families and the peace and quiet.
This one day would be a day that automobiles, airplanes, trucks and other forms of transportation that are major polluters would be banned.
Everyone would go and introduce themself to one neighbor that they have not met.
Everyone would reconsile with one person they have wronged.
Catholic Nuns would rule the prisons and Monks would be the teachers.
Medical & Dental care would be free.
Flower and vegetable seeds would be given out to every person and gardening classes would be free.
Wells would be drilled everywhere, so people would never die of thirst.
The first hour of the day would be a time of meditation and contemplation.
The last hour of the day would be a time of prayer.
Chocolate of any kind would be free.
Children would be free to walk away from abuse and find their own families.
A day to dance in the streets.
A day for street parties, picnics, tailgating, singing and Love.
